A very useful new update has been rolled out to list toolbars in SharePoint Online.  If you’ve gotten sick of the ellipsis (…), then you’ll appreciate how handy this is.

To see the updated toolbar, navigate to a list or library.  You’ll see something that looks familiar, but notice the More drop-down on the far right?  Hmmm…what’s that do?

Select a document to find out.  When you do, you’ll see that the More option becomes enabled and opening it reveals the additional actions you can take on that document.  This is much faster than trying to use the ellipsis or the ribbon.  Fantastic!

It gets even better!  Now you can right-click a document or item to bring up this same menu, too!
